Description/Interesting Notes: An old time example of chrysoberyl from Sri Lanka!!! This specimen consists of a complex, alluvial crystal of chrysoberyl!!! The crystal shows some well defined faces, has rich slightly greenish-yellow honey color, and gemmy clarity!!! Rare, old time material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!! We just acquired the 6000+ specimen PERSONAL collection of Tony Nikischer and there are going to be some very exciting minerals to come in the upcoming days and weeks!!!
