Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of chrysoberyl from Tanzania!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of intergrown, prismatic crystals of deep green chrysoberyl!!! The crystals are unusually elongated and almost resemble prismatic emerald crystals - the color is more like an emerald too!!! The crystals have marked clarity and luster with a unique, rich green color!!! Some of the crystals even exhibit a curious, slightly curved habit as well!!! The pictures simply don't capture just how impressive this specimen is in person!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
