Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of chrysoberyl from Brazil!!! This specimen consists of a matrix of intergrown muscovite crystals that hosts a
striking crystal of gem chrysoberyl prominently perched on its surface!!! The chrysoberyl crystal is sharply twinned with sharp, glassy faces,
gemmy clarity, and lively yellow-green color!!! The crystal is actually perched on a second chrysoberyl crystal that is embedded in the muscovite and there
are a few other chrysoberyl crystals scattered throughout the matrix!!! When viewed at certain angles, particularly on edge,
the crystal shows a slight blue sheen within - not unlike the adularescence of a moonstone!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in
 person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
