Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible, and singularly unique example of twinned chrysoberyl from Brazil!!! While chrysoberyl is noted for its characteristic v-twins and sixling twins, this specimen exhibits some highly complex twinning that is rarely seen!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged all around with glassy luster, marked clarity, and rich greenish golden color!!! However, its most striking feature is this incredibly unique twinning!!! In person the specimen's symmetry is immediately apparent and there are numerous smaller sharp, glassy faces that are better appreciated in person!!! The complex twinning also seems to influence the internal play of light and coloration in a striking fashion as well!!!! This specimen displays fantastically from numerous angles and is really quite intruiging in person!!! This specimen is from the personal collection of Ernie Schlicter and retains his original label and detailed notecard as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
