Description/Interesting Notes: A gorgeous, old time classic chrysoberyl crystal from Maine!!! This specimen hosts a large 2.3cm chrysoberyl crystal twin on matrix in association with a single dark red crystal of spessartine garnet!!! So often these specimens are damaged or repaired - however, this crystal is complete, pristine, undamaged, and unrepaired!!! The crystal has sharp, brilliantly lustrous faces and exhibits sharp characteristic twinning as well!!! The crystal has classic golden color with gemmy clarity (if viewed on edge just right, one can see some slight bluish iridescence as well)!!!
