Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of chrysoberyl from Tanzania!!! This specimen came to us labelled as alexandrite, however we can detect no noticeable color change - just a lovely rich deep green color in all lighting conditions!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of intergrown, prismatic crystals of deep green chrysoberyl!!! The crystals have marked clarity and luster with a unique, rich green color!!! Some of the crystals even exhibit a curious, slightly curved habit as well!!! The pictures simply don't capture just how impressive this specimen is in person!!!
