Description/Interesting Notes: A unique old time example of chrysocolla from this famed historic locality!!! This specimen consists of a complex botryoidal mass of chrysocolla that exhibits a most unusual color scheme!!! The chrysocolla exhibits an intense and unique blue-green color (similar to rosasite in person) paired by a rich brown color!!! This brown color is NOT matrix, but is actually an additional layer of lustrous, hard chrysocolla!!! In person the specimen is quite striking indeed!!! This specimen retains an old foreign label and catalogue number as well!!! THe pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
