Chrysocolla pseudomorph after Azurite Live Oak pit, Inspiration Mine, Miami-Inspiration District, Globe-Miami District, Gila Co., Arizona 7.4cm x 5.82cm x 2.8cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible, old time example of chrysocolla after azurite from this classic Arizona locality!!! This specimen hosts a group of large, well defined crystals of azurite that have been completely replaced by colorful blue green chrysocolla!!! Upon close inspection, there are some small areas of partially altered malachite and some druzy quartz as well!!! This is an amazing specimen indeed!!! One rarely sees such wonderful pseudomorphs from this famed locality!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
