Description/Interesting Notes:
A unique, old time example of calcite with cinnabar inclusions from Mexico!!! This specimen consists of a spikey cluster of
sharp calcite crystals that hosts rich red inclusions of cinnabar right under the surface!!! Although it is difficult to appreciate in
the pics, the crystals have highly lustrous, glassy faces!!! The crystals host cores of unidentified inclusions underneath the
lively red cinnabar inclusions!!! The included cinnabar is much more dramatic than the the pics show - the color is brighter and the
inclusions are much more significant!!! A very unusual and handsome old time specimen!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
