Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of cinnabar from this historic locality!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of bright red crystals of cinnabar on matrix!!! The crystals have bright luster with marked clarity and intense ruby red color!!! The crystals range in size to over 3mm!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can see some minor microcrystalline calomel present in some areas as well!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
