Clinochlore with Diopside Mt Belvidere Quarries (Eden Mills quarries), Lowell & Eden, Orleans & Lamoille Cos., Vermont 7cm x 5.3cm x 3.5cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An absolutely fantastic example of clinochlore from Eden Mills!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of juxtapozed clinochlore crystals in association with a few white diopside crystals!!! The clinochlore crystals are thick, sturdy, and somewhat complex!!! The crystals are complete and in magnificent condition - however their complex forms made it difficult to capture just how great they are in the pictures!!! The crystals have deep green color and show green highlights on broad faces!!! The diopside crystals are also quite complex as well!!! This is a magnificent example of the species from Eden Mills!!!
