Description/Interesting Notes: A unique example of cobaltite from this seldom referenced locale!!! This specimen hosts numerous highly complex crystals of cobaltite in matrix!!! The crystals exhibit highly modified forms with silvery metallic luster!!! This material is very unusual and rare - usually the ONLY examples of cobaltite from Canada are seen from the Brazil Lake occurence!!! This is one of just two examples of this rare material that we acquired and this one is just loaded with crystals!!! Upon close examination one can see that there are numerous sharply formed crystals with brilliant metallic luster and sharp faces!!! This specimen is way beter than the pics show!!! This is old material and retains an old Ward's label as well!!! The crystals range in size up to over 3mm!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
