A magnificent example of cobaltite from Cornwall!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of cobaltite with a small vein of crystalline quartz in
association!!! While the majority of cobaltite from Cornwall is massive material, this specimen boasts numerous sharp and significant crystals up to over 6mm!!! A
fantastic Cornwall cobaltite indeed!!! The specimen has a grayish to silvery metallic color with a terrific "antique" patina!!! The crystal faces
are much more brilliant and more sharply pronounced in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
This specimen retains old labels from George E. Ashby, The Sunshine Acres School (a very "unique" fully
accredited private school - circa 1939, it was part of the nation's first Nudist colony), and the Wintringham Collection!!!
