Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of colusite from the type locale in Butte!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of colusite in association with quartz and pyrite!!! There are large significant masses of brassy-grayish metallic colusite richly scattered on every side of this specimen!!! This specimen retains old labels that indicate it was in the collection of P. Smith and was sent to Europe sometime in 1932!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
