Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of colusite from Butte!!! This specimen hosts numerous scattered masses of colusite in quartz matrix in addition to numerous sharp CRYSTALS of colusite!!! This specimen hosts a pristine, superbly formed crystal of colusite that measures an impressive 2.5mm!!! In addition to this prominent crystal, there are numerous smaller crystals present as well!!! This is a fantastic example of the species from Butte!!! Rarely does one see colusite as anything other than massive or crudely crystalline samples from this locality!!! This specimen retains an old Scott Williams label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
