This specimen consists of a pristine and undamaged "ring" shaped clay concretion that shows a variety of complex, concentric forms and numerous mushroom-like growths!!! This specimen is simply amazing in person - the pics don't even begin to capture this marvel of nature!!! We came across this specimen in an old collection and it retains a handwritten note that notes it was acquired from a Robert L. Catlin and gives several other details as well!!!
