Description/Interesting Notes: A rare example of connellite from Bound Brook!!! This specimen consists of a well-mounted micromount that hosts a rich distribution of tiny submillimeter balls of bright blue connellite!!! There are easily 20+ individual balls of connellite present and it is way, WAY better than the pictures show!!! It was difficult to capture such small crystals with the digital camera without the aid of a stereoscope - however, they give a rough idea of the specimen at the very least!!! Examples of connellite from Bound Brook are quite scarce and this one is simply gorgeous when viewed under magnification!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
