Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic, old time example of native copper from Michigan!!! This specimen consist of a dense cluster of highly complex native copper crystals in association with some intergrown matrix!!! Upon close study, one can see that the crystals exhibit numerous spinel twins and complex herring bone-like forms!!! There is much more crystalline detail than it appears from the pics!!! The crystals have a handsome, slightly brassy patina and display fantastically all around!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
