A rare, old time example of native silver with native copper from the Cashin Mine!!! This classic Colorado locality closed over 100 years ago -
dating this specimen back at least a century!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of native copper/silver halfbreed across its surface!!!
Upon close inspection in person, one can easily see the silver and copper hues!!! This old time material is VERY rare from this locality and
this is a magnificent example indeed!!! You can see some rounded, crystalline features in numerous areas throughout the specimen!!! It
is also possible that there are domeykite and algodonite in association as well!!! This is a magnificent old timer indeed!!! This
specimen is from the Colorado Suite of the Jenkins collection and retains its old affixed catalogue number!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
