Description/Interesting Notes:
A terrific example of native copper from Michigan!!! This specimen consists of a complex, branching group of native copper crystals intergrown
with a small amount of matrix and epidote!!! The native copper shows numerous, highly complex
crystal forms with sharply defined faces scattered throughout the specimen!!! The native copper shows a particularly attractive
bright red color - the result of a microcrystalline coating of cuprite!!! Upon close inspection, one can see some tiny
dark green epidote crystals scattered about as well!!! Very handsome in person!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
