Native Copper Centennial Mine, Centennial, Houghton Co., Michigan 3cm x .9cm x .74cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of native copper from Michigan!!! This specimen consists of an elongated "sprig" of crystalline copper!!! The copper crystals are sharply defined and feature several bold, cubic forms!!! The crystals have a handsome reddish patina - the result of a coating of microcrystalline cuprite!!!
