Native Copper with Native Silver

Houghton Co., Michigan

8cm x 5.25cm x 3.9cm

Description/Interesting Notes:

A magnificent example of native copper and native silver from Michigan!!! This specimen consists of a horse-like group of native silver and native copper crystals!!! The native copper has a handsome patina and complex crystalline forms!!! The native silver is quite rich and brilliant!!! The native silver and native copper are sharply deliniated - this is not just a "halfbreed" amalgamation of copper and silver but rather a very impressive and showy specimen of both seperate species!!! This specimen has an immediately apparent animal-like form that is quite amusing in person!!! People have called it a horse, goat, and dog - regardless of what you call it it is a very striking combination of native silver and native copper!!! Classic material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!! STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS WILL BE ADDED MONDAY NIGHT FOR A SPECIAL 3-DAY AUCTION, ENDING THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 29th!!!
