Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of native copper pseudomorphs after cuprite!!! This specimen consists of a dendritic group of copper crystals that host numerous complex pseudomorphs of native copper after cuprite!!! The pseudomorphic crystals exhibit a variety of complex cubic habits and there are also some areas of native copper that appear to be almost spongiform in nature as well!!! The crystals have a wonderful reddish patina due to the formation of microcrystalline cuprite on the surface!!! This specimen is pristine, damage free, and complete all around!!!
