Description/Interesting Notes:
A magnificent, old time native copper from this historic Michigan locale!!! This specimen is from the collection of
famed copper magnate Thomas F. Cole (1862-1939) and retains an old label (with Cole collection notation) from the
California Institute of Technology Collection!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of particularly sharp and
significantly sized crystals of native copper!!! The specimen hosts a large, highly complex crystal of native copper
accented by smaller crystals that have razor sharp features and amazing crystallization!!! The main crystal is quite
impressive with sharp, brilliant faces and a gorgeous, slightly brassy patina!!! The
main crystal measures over 1.8cm!!! This
specimen is in superb condition all around and displays stunningly in person!!! This is a very fine and impressive
old time native copper - the pics don't even come close to doing this killer justice!!! It is no wonder that this
beauty came from the collection of famed copper magnate Thomas F. Cole (1862-1939)!!! Classic!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
