Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic example of copper included calcite from Michigan!!! This specimen consists of a complex calcite crystal that hosts a very rich
distribution of native copper inclusions throughout!!! The crystal appears
to be a large scalenohedron that, in turn, hosts numerous smaller scalenohedrons growing perpendicular to it!!! It is difficult to appreciate in the pics - however
it is quite bright and showy in person!!! The crystals are highly lustrous and have marked clarity!!! There is significant exposed copper as well that has
green malachite accents!!! A very handsome specimen indeed!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
