Description/Interesting Notes: A classic, old time example of native copper and cuprite from Cornwall!!! This specimen consists of a large, dense, dendritic mass of intergrown native copper crystals in association with deep red cuprite crystals!!! The native copper exhibits a dense network of highly complex, modified crystals throughout!!! There are all manner of crystal forms present and the specimen is much more crystalline than it appears in the pics!!! The copper exhibits a handsome range of complimentary patinas as well!!! The cuprite is present as masses of deep red, intergrown cubic crystals richly scattered throughout the copper crystals!!! This specimen retains an old, antique label from Ward's as well!!!
