Copper Pseudomorph after Aragonite Corocoro, Pacajes Province, La Paz Department, Bolivia 2.48cm x 2.3cm x 2.09cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A superb example of this classic and sought after pseudomorph from Bolivia!!! This specimen is a cluster of aragonite crystals that have been completely replaced by native copper!!! This specimen consists of a hexagonal prismatic aragonite crystal that has several interpenetrant crystals that jut out from its center, all at roughly 90 degree angles!!! It is simply incredible in person!!! The specimen is razor-sharp, complete all around, and undamaged!!! It displays magnificently from every possible angle and there are aesthetic accents of cuprite and malachite!!! An absolutely choice example of this classic pseudomorph!!!
