Description/Interesting Notes:
A classic example of native copper and native silver from Colorado!!! These unique specimens from the Cashin Mine consist of a
characteristic combination of native copper and native silver!!! This specimen hosts a very rich showing of complex crystals of intergrown and intermixed native copper and silver on a
hard quartz matrix!!! This specimen shows a very significant amount of silver throughout and the copper that is present has a unique, characteristic hue indicative of a
high silver content!!! Upon close inspecition, one can see subhedral networks of native silver crystals interlaced with the copper-silver crystals!!! There is a lot
more going on with this specimen than the pictures show!!! A fascinating old timer indeed!!!
The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
