A superb, old time example of native silver and copper from the Osceola Mine!!! I have to start off by saying that this specimen is WAY, WAY better than
these pictures show!!! This is a significant and valuable specimen!!! This specimen consists of a large mass of crystalline native copper that
features some very large, complex crystals!!! This mass of crystalline copper hosts several complex crystals of native siler as well!!! The silver
is actually incredibly well-crystallized and, under close inspection, one can see a sharp and complex network of brilliant crystal faces!!! The native
copper crystals actually have microscopic striations that give them an almost iridescent quality that produces broad flashes of brilliance all over the specimen!!!
This specimen is quite heavy and dense!!! The largest copper crystal almost looks like it has "exploded" on the reverse side - an effect that is quite striking in person!!! This is NOT a
combination of "massive" copper or silver and it is NOT a copper-silver halfbreed - this specimen is a combination of CRYSTALLINE COPPER and CRYSTALLINE SILVER!!!
The crystallized nature of each species is much more significant than the pictures show and is immediately apparent in person!!! The pics don't even
come close to doing this significant specimen justice!!!!
