Coquimibite with Chalcanthite & Jarosite Javier Mine, Ayacucho Department, Peru 4.5cm x 3.46cm x 2.7cm

Description/Interesting Notes: An incredible example of coquimbite from a new find in Peru!!! This small new find represents the one of best examples of this species known!!! We acquired just the very best specimens with the largest, sharpest crystals and best color - there were just a few of such quality and this is our last one, so don't miss out!!! The specimen has sharp, lustrous faces and marked clarity!!! The color is absolutely exceptional and actually exhibits some significant color change - with sunlight and incandescent lighting producing an intense "Pulsifer apatite-like" purple color and some synthetic light sources yielding an almost tan color!!! Only a few specimens had such incredible color!!! This specimen is complete all around and the bottom is terminated as well!!! There is also some bright blue crystalline chalcanthite in association and some brownish colored jarosite as well!!!
