Coquimbite Dexter No. 7 Mine, Calf Mesa, San Rafael District (San Rafael Swell), Emery Co., Utah 3.44cm x 2.73cm x 1.1cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of coquimbite from Utah!!! This specimen consists of a handsome cluster of richly colored, translucent purple crystals of coquimbite!!! The crystals are present as juxtaposed, barrel-shaped crystals and there is a small amount of whitish halotrichite in association on the front and a small amount of dark reddish brown romerite in association on the reverse!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This is old, very stable material that originally came out of the Wintringham Collections!!!
