Description/Interesting Notes:
A wonderful cluster of bi-color ruby/sapphire corundum crystals from Nepal!!! This specimen is from a joint venture to recover
rubies from Nepal by John Barlow and Charlie Key in 1984!!! This specimen consists of numerous, complexly formed corundum crystals that exhibit
a most splendid combination of blue and pink!!! The white quartzite matrix makes for a fantastic contrast to these amazingly colored
crystals!!! The crystals exhibit an aeshtetic combination of both slender, elongated habits and thin, almost tabular habits as well!!!
The crystals are much more complete than they might appear to be in the pics - this specimen was somewhat difficult to capture in the pictures
however it is nothing short of spectacular in person!!! Simply a unique and magnificent specimen indeed!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
