Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of sapphire from New Jersey!!! This specimen consists of a complex single sapphire crystal associated with a small amount of calcite, minor chalcopyrite, phlogopite, and graphite!!! The sapphire crystal has sharp, complex faces and great blue color!!! Good sapphire crystals from New Jersey are quite scarce!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
