Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of cosalite with native gold and pyrite from Canada!!! This specimen hosts a rich showing of darkly colored, intergrown crystals of cosalite in a sharply contrasting matrix of stark white quartz with a small mass of brassy golden pyrite in association!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can see that there are numerous tiny masses of native gold scattered throughout the cosalite crystals!!! The cosalite crystals from this historic locality are often heavily included with native gold!!! The cosalite crystals have some well defined details and significant size!!! This is old time material and is from the Sorbonne Museum in France!!! This specimen retains an old, handwritten label as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
