Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of covellite from this famed locale!!! This specimen hosts numerous intensely iridescent metallic crystals of covellite in association with pale yellow, gemmy sphalerite and tiny quartz crystals!!! The covellite crystals exhibit characteristic, bladed hexagonal forms with striking metallic luster and lively purple, blue, and magenta iridescence!!! There is a complex area of sphalerite just in front of the main covellite crystals that has an unusual pale greenish yellow color and gemmy clarity!!! Classic material!!!
