Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of crocoite and vauquelinite from Germany!!! This specimen hosts numerous intense red-orange crystals of crocoite accented by yellow-green microcrystals of vauquelinite!!! The combination of intensely colorful species made this specimen difficult to photograph - the pics hardly do it justice!!! The crystals are much different than those commonly seen from Tasmania - instead of prismatic, jack-straw crystals these crystals are sharp, elongated chisel shaped crystals!!!
