Description/Interesting Notes: A terrific example of cubanite from this classic locale!!! This specimen hosts a highly complex crystal of cubanite prominently perched on matrix!!! The crystal measures 1.3cm and has brilliantly metallic luster with attractive iridescent highlights!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see that there are numerous tiny cubanite crystals present in a shallow mound of somewhat massive material as well!!! Examples of cubanite on matrix are quite scarce!!! This specimen retains an old label from the Laval University Geology Museum as well!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
