Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of cumengeite from Mexico!!! This specimen consitss of a rare, matrix example of cumengeite!!! The matrix is a completely
natural, unstabilized matrix that is comprised of combination of green paratacamite, gypsum, and clay that has been cemented together by
microcrystalline gypsum!!! This specimen hosts a sharply twinned 2.5mm cumengeite sixling embedded in the matrix, in addition to at least two other
smaller cumengeite crystals, one small boleite/cumengeite combo, and one small boleite cube!!! Under close examination with a loupe or scope, one can
see that the cumengeite crystal is actually quite gemmy throughout!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
