Description/Interesting Notes:
An exquisite example of rare cuprian adamite from Ojuela Mine!!! While there have been some recent finds at Ojuela, this is old, classic
Ojuela material!!! These classic blue-green cuprian adamite
specimens are still quite scarce and remain one of the most sought after Ojuela species to this day (and for obvious reason!)!!!
This specimen hosts numerous large, highly lustrous cuprian adamite crystals to over 1cm in aesthetic association with calcite crystals!!! The specimen
has two distinct areas of crystals - one that consists of large, discretely positioned individual crystals scattered across an elongated vug, and another that hosts large
crystals of cuprian adamite in a showy pairing with lustrous, translucent calcite crystals perched on a layer of smaller cuprian adamite crystals!!! The cuprian adamite crystals have absolutely
CHOICE blue green color (more blue than green) and are MUCH more intense and saturated than the pictures show!!! This specimen is in pristine condition with no damage whatsoever and displays
magnificently from numerous angles!!! This specimen is a KILLER in person!!! Don't miss out on this rare and valuable classic!!! The pics don't even come close
to doing it justice!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
STAY TUNED!!! MORE AUCTIONS
