Description/Interesting Notes: A unique and unusual old time example of cuprite from Bisbee!!! This specimen consists of a combination of massive cuprite with intense ruby red cuprite var. chalcotrichite that hosts some scattered fossil shells as well!!! Such combinations are quite scarce indeed!!! A significant portion of the specimen appears to be comprised of very dense, solid networks of sparkly, ruby red chalcotrichite!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope one can see networks of squared-off prismatic crystals!!! There is massive red cuprite present as well and this material has several fossil shells embedded within it as well!!! There is a lot going on with this specimen and it is quite handsome in person!!! Old material!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!! This specimen is from the collection of Tony Nikischer!!!
