Description/Interesting Notes:
A fantastic example of cuprite from Arizona!!! This specimen consists of a rich cluster of near solid cuprite crystals in association with
a greenish, powdery matrix!!! The cuprite is essentially a single solid mass of cubic crystals!!! The crystals appear dark in dim lighting, but as soon
as they are near any lighting the specimen lights up a bright ruby red!!! The crystals have sharp, lustrous faces and modified cubic habits!!! The
associated matrix is actually a dense green, clay like mineral!!! This specimen retains an old Ward's label that curiously
details its locality as "near Bisbee"!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
