Description/Interesting Notes: A rare, old time example of quartz with cuprite var. chalcotrichite from Prospect Park!!! This specimen consists of a cluster quartz points that hosts numerous patches of red chalcotrichite!!! In the centers of the chalcotrichite crystals, it appears there could be tiny pieces of native copper possibly!!! The quartz crystals have numerous curious inclusions as well!!! Unusual and rare old time material!!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! This specimen is from the Albert Peppis Collection and retains his original label!!!
