Description/Interesting Notes:
An outstanding example of cuprite and native silver from the recent find in Russia!!! This specimen consists of a
showy cluster of sharp, lustrous, octahedral cuprite crystals in association with numerous areas of very
fine, dendritic crystals of native silver!!! The cuprite crystals have characteristic dark color but have numerous red
highlights and areas of deep red flash within!!! The native silver exhibits a complex, very fine dendritic habit that is
likely pseudomorphic after miersite or another halide (Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, one can see a few
masses that have crude subhedral forms)!!! Upon close inspection with a loupe or scope, there is a minor amount of rare
miersite tucked in some nooks and crannies!!! These specimens are no doubt going to be future classics!!!
Don't miss out on this showy and valuable specimen!!!
The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
Good luck and be sure to check out my other exciting mineral auctions on ebay!!!
