Cuprite on Calcite Tsumeb, Namibia 5.15cm x 3.27cm x 1.87cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of cuprite on calcite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of an aesthetic, sculptural matrix comprised of stark white calcite rhombs that hosts numerous gemmy, razor-sharp crystals of ruby red cuprite!!! The selective orange staining (unsure whether or not this is indeed mineralization) also provides an added dimension!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! STAY TUNED!!!
