Description/Interesting Notes: A fantastic example of cuprite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen hosts a large, complex crystal of cuprite prominently perched on matrix and accented by scattered crystals of green malachite!!! The cuprite crystal is complete all around and measures an impressive 1.3cm!!! The cuprite crystal has an overall cubo-octahedral habit with highly complex modifications and features!!! The cuprite crystal is attractively "speckled" with tiny balls of lively green malachite!!! The matrix hosts tiny crystals of dolomite and mimetite and there are a few errant mimetite crystals embedded in the cuprite as well!!! Very handsome in person!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!!
