Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of cuprite from Tsumeb!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of sharp, complexly modified octahedral crystals of ruby red cuprite!!! The crystals have razor-sharp faces with glassy luster, intense red color, and gemmy clarity!!! There is a tiny amount of matrix in association and there are some highly complex features where the specimen was in contact with the matrix, however the specimen is in magnificent condition with no damage and displays gorgeously in person!!! Simply a gorgeous example of cuprite from Tsumeb!!! The pics hardly do it justice!!! Must be seen in person to be fully appreciated!!!
