Malachite after Cuprite Ogonja (Onganja), Seeis, Windhoek District, Khomas Region, Namibia 2.15cm x 1.87cm x 1.43cm

Description/Interesting Notes: A classic example of malachite after cuprite from Ogonja!!! This pecimen consists of a modified cubo-octahedral crystal of cuprite that has been replaced by bright green malachite crystals!!! The specimen exhibits sharply defined faces and lively green color!!! The specimen is in magnificent condition and displays fantastically all around!!! One can see a small amount of deep red cuprite on the reverse - usually these specimens still retain a core of cuprite (often of fine gem quality and color)!!! Classic material!!!
