Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent, old time example of cuprite from this classic Arizona locality!!! This specimen is comprised almost entirely of solid, crystalline cuprite with a minor internal framework of native copper!!! The cuprite is very well crystallized all around - consisting of broad, highly complex crystals with intense red color!!! The crystals exhibit a wide variety of habits from compound, stepped crystals to sharp cubic and octahedral crystals and every complex and intergrown variation thereof!!! This specimen is complete and undamaged all around!!! There are a few tiny pieces of crystalline native copper that jut out from the lively red cuprite as well!!! This is really a very significant and showy old time cuprite!!! This specimen is completely crystallized and undamaged with dramatic red color - this specimen is SO much better than the pictures show!!! This valuable old timer retains an antique dealer label as well!!! This specimen is from the A.J. Beres collection!!! Absolutely magnificent in person!!!
