Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of cuprite from this classic locality!!! This specimen consists of a limonitic matrix that hosts large, pristine crystals of deep red cuprite crystals!!! The front of the specimen is comprised of a handsome, three-dimensional botryoidal limonitic matrix that hosts a discreet grouping of prominently perched cuprite crystals!!! The crystals have sharp, lustrous faces with deep red color and marked clarity!!! The crystals are complete and undamaged!!! The reverse hosts numerous additional cuprite crystals that are quite showy as well!!! The crystals on the reverse are paired with an unidentified pale bluish gray mineral present as small rounded crystals or botryoids!!! This specimen is in pristine condition all around and is very showy in person!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!! Simply a gorgeous old time Bisbee cuprite!!!
