Description/Interesting Notes: A magnificent example of cuprite and native silver from this exciting new find!!! This specimen consists of a cluster of razor-sharp, brilliantly lustrous octahedral crystals of cuprite in association with tin-white native silver!!! The cuprite crystals are complete and in superb condition!!! The crystals have complex stepped modifications visible on numerous edges and corners as well!!! The native silver is present both on the crystals and included within them!!! In person, the reddish color of the cuprite is much more apparent and the areas near the exposed silver exhibit lively flashes of red - thanks in part to the bright metallic silver included within!!! This is a KILLER example from this new find and came from a cache of the very finest examples recovered from the find!!! The pics don't even come close to doing it justice!!!
